Stand-Up Workshops
This workshop is great for beginners who want to learn the art of stand up comedy or for comics who are interested in perfecting their already existing routines and taking their careers to the next level.
In the In-person Stand-up Workshop, Lisa shares the secrets of joke writing and performance technique! There are six classes, one per week, in-person at the Comedy Store in La Jolla. Classes are taught by Lisa. This six-week workshop is $475.

1:30PM - 5PM
Classes will be every Saturday for 6 weeks in-person at the La Jolla Comedy Store.
Each week you are given writing exercises and we'll collaborate to come up with your best and funniest five minute set! Graduation showcase is tbd. Every student is NOT guaranteed a showcase spot. Spots are based on class attendance and promotion of show. Lisa will go over these details during class. The goal is to have everyone perform in front of a LIVE audience!
**Before registering for any workshop, please make sure you are able to attend the scheduled weeks of class on the selected dates. The workshop is non-refundable/non-transferable after purchase.

Have you been looking for a stand-up intensive workshop without a weekly class commitment? Have you been looking to learn everything about the comedy business while writing, performing & punching up jokes AND getting real in-the-moment feedback and stage time?
Well, Lisa has created a new, all-levels, co-ed master intensive workshop that will cover & teach you everything you need to know about working & performing in stand-up comedy!
This is literally the equivalent of an 8-week course in 1 day!
This exciting new workshop has an in-person option and a zoom online option for those who cannot attend in-person.
Our in-person participants will be taught in person in a classroom setting. This class will be incredibly interactive! You'll be able to run material, punch up jokes, learn about the business and so much more! Our online Zoom participants will be able to follow along with our in-person class and have a 15 minute Q&A session with Lisa after class. Our online Zoom participants will also receive a bonus group zoom class where they will be able to run material, punch up jokes and learn more about the stand-up business. *please note our zoom participants will not be running material during the one-day workshop, they will have a special session with Lisa to get this interactive experience.

Lisa Sundstedt, is one of the most seasoned and most celebrated comediennes, stand-up comedy writers and producers in the business today. Her very first stand up gig was at a gay bar in West Hollywood called “The Rage”. Mustering up that kind of ballsy-broad attitude, Lisa entered a comedy contest and won first place. The win garnered her a little money and a lot of self-esteem!
